Canvases and Murals by Melissa D.

Art work for the Bridge Church Cafe and also my first artistic canvases in 12 years!

This first painting is reflective of the season I went through this past year: a stormy, yet liberating season! In my circumstances, God definitely showed himself faithful and gave me the grace to experience the peace which surpasses all comprehension: His peace!

This second painting is called TRANSFORMATION, from the Root to the Fruit
I believe this is how God operates. Given that He is more interested in our fruit than anything else (beside the tree that He made us), he takes care of healing, nourishing, irrigating... our roots to impact the fruit that we will bare. I realize that I can't produce any good fruit on my own but by deepening my relationship with Christ, I ended up baring more tasty fruit to His glory! ^^
The scripture in this canvas is Psalm 1:3
"And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."

Some Murals I painted:

This mural is in our leaving room and I am thankful to God for reveling its prophetic meaning to me after I actually painted it! It is a great encouragement to me to witness how not only did He guide my hand and used me to express His message through painting but mostly how He wanted these 'words' of encouragement to be before me daily.

Nadia's Very fabulous/praise and worship bedroom

It was a blast to get to paint Nadia's room with her mom and my best friend, Liana!

On the guitare: "I lift your Name up with a joyful sound"

My baby boy's bedroom...
A friend, Serena, who studies Art therapy told me the other day that the Tree is a symbol of growth... good for Nathan, and good for me ;)

A mural that I painted in my daughter's room a couple years ago.

Our friendly Moises with The 10 commandments

Oh! that's me ^^. I painted this room along with my sister, Jessica, and friends form the Bridge Church: Olivia, Meghan and Serena. We received quite some help from Travis, Mike and Bill Rice for the construction part! Great team effort and awesome leadership from Jessica ;)

This is Liana and I after we finally completed our first ever "mural on canvas".

with the scripture: Matthew3:17
This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased.”
